Salary: MPS - UPS: £31,650 - £49,084 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 1.0 FTE, 39 weeks per year. 

This is a great opportunity to join a highly skilled and dedicated teaching team at St David's C of E Primary School.

We are looking to recruit an inspirational, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to initially teach in our year 1/2 class.

You will:

  • Have experience in teaching EYFS/KS1, successfully meeting a diverse range of needs through a range of adaptive practices;
  • Have experience at successfully teaching early reading/phonics;
  • Be able to promote high standards of behaviour, pupil progress and attainment while being ambitious for all of our pupils;
  • Be motivated, organised and a great team player;
  • Value and actively contribute to the Christian ethos of the school, being a strong role model for our Christian values.

Our unique school is situated in the centre of Exeter and was described within our recent Ofsted report as 'a small school with a big heart!' As a church school, our Christian values of Friendship, Respect, Forgiveness, Kindness, compassion and trust underpin everything that we do and provide our children, staff and families with a safe and caring learning community in which to grow, thrive and learn together.
